Fragmented care is bad for patients and the health care system
The US health care system spends significantly more and produces poorer health outcomes when compared to its peers. Fragmented care is a major contributor to this problem and adversely impacts those who are frequently hospitalized. We want to change this. The Comprehensive Care Institute firmly believes that good health and care is rooted in relationships and trust - particularly with a doctor who knows you and can care for you in both the hospital and the clinic.

The Comprehensive Care Institute (CCI) is on a mission to promote the adoption and continual improvement of comprehensive care models that take an integrated approach to addressing the medical and psychosocial needs of patients over time.
CCI's vision is that the application of the concept of comprehensive care has the potential to produce transformational improvements in health care. CCI seeks to identify areas where comprehensive care can be most impactful and promote its application in those areas.
